Escalas de TONO y ESPASTICIDAD
Las siguientes tres escalas de valoración clínica pueden ser de utilidad en el seguimiento de pacientes con lesiones de primera motoneurona.
Bohannon RW, Smith MB. Interrater reliability of a modified Ashworth Scale of muscle spasticity. Phys Ther 1986; 67: 206-207.
0 - No increase in muscle tone.
1 - Slight increase in muscle tone, manifested by catch and release, or by minimal resistance at the end of the range of motion when the affected part(s) is move into flexion or extension.
1+- Slight increase in muscle tone manifested by catch, followed by minimal resistance throghout the remainder (less than half) of the ROM.
2 - More marked increase in muscle tone through most of the ROM, but the affected part(s) is easily moved.
3 - Considerable increase in muscle tone, passive movement is difficult.
4 - Affected part(s) is rigid in flexion or extension.
0 - No increase in tone.
1 - Increased tone; hips are easily abducted to 45 degrees by one person.
2 - Hips are abducted to 45 degrees by one person with mild effort.
3 - Hips are abducted to 45 degrees by one person with moderate effort.
